VF-1S Roy Focker Zéro Tribute

(12/2019) Yamato 1/60 VF-1S with Hasegawa 1/72 VF-0 Armor parts

As the VF-0 is way bigger than the VF-1 (you can spot the difference on the upper picture, both are same scale), and in 1/60 barely the same size as a 1/48 VF-1, I decided to make a tribute for this magnificent Zéro Armor by putting a 1/72 Hasegawa armor parts (from the model kit) on a 1/60 VF-1S I had in stock, beginning to yellowing slightly (a good candidate then).
Many adaptation were made on the armor parts, strengthening some and drilling into others, putting magnets on the leg parts to get them able to be disassembled.
In fact, the whole armor can be put on any other 1/60 VF-1, as this one hasn't been specially adapted, it remains as it was in its box.
Painting in a 2 tone grey and yellow scheme, as a tribute to Focker in its cooler days.
kind of Pineapple salad, isn't it ?
